Scarves. Everybody's got tons of 'em, but they are often balled up and languishing in drawers, boxes and in the backs of closets.

Truthfully, I am not a shop-a-holic, but that could change. I haven't been this excited about bargain shopping since I first discovered TJ Maxx stores back in the 80's when I moved to Boston.

As I've grown older, I've gotten over the 'down and dirty' hunt for the good stuff in the Boston-based TJX chain. Today, I find it too overwhelming and not really worth my time. I will put in the occasional visit just to see if I might be missing something. So far, not.

MYHABIT is a private fashion sale site offering up to 60% off hand-picked selections from designer and boutique brands founded by Amazon.com.

I've long been a fan of Amazon -- with it's vast and growing selection, customer service par excellence and pricing, I am not surprised they've jumped into the membership shopping arena.

What fashion and shopping coup for those who long for products with unique style, designer-brand quality, great value -- at bargain pricing. Who can beat free shipping, both ways;)

Erika and Brie -- You Go, Girls!

This is a super summer enrichment program for young girls. We certainly could use more summer camps like this one and see more young girls enrolled in them.

You Go, Girl! is a program you'll want to put on your calendar for Summer 2012. Especially if you're looking to encourage, coax or entice your 10-14 year old into doing something more constructive than engaging in social media, television or obsessing over friendships lost and found.
